Sustainable partners & inspiring collaborations
At Celestial Living, we consciously choose partners who share our values: sustainability, craftsmanship, and an eye for beauty. Below you will find an overview of brands and suppliers with whom we proudly collaborate – each and every one of them people or companies that contribute to the quality and experience of your stay in a yurt.
Craftsmanship and sustainable materials
Craftsmanship and sustainability form the foundation of Celestial Living. From the artisan-built yurts to the materials we work with – everything is carefully chosen, naturally sourced, and made to last. This way, you experience comfort with a conscience, and beauty that stands the test of time.
Yurts for Life – craftsmanship in every fiber
Our yurts come from Yurts for Life in England. They are handcrafted from local, natural materials such as ash wood and English wool. Each one is a testament to artisanal craftsmanship, sustainably produced with love for tradition and nature.
Sustainable construction from floor to sanitary facilities
We have also opted for sustainable materials in the furnishing and construction of our yurts. The wooden subfloors, cork interior flooring, terraces, and sanitary facilities are made from reusable or circular raw materials. This keeps the ecological footprint to a minimum, while maintaining quality and appearance.

Morsø – warmth with a clear conscience
The wood stoves in our yurts are from Morsø and bear the Nordic Ecolabel . It is a Danish brand that has been known since 1853 for its sustainable cast-iron stoves and clean combustion technology. Thanks to the advanced air supply, the flue gases burn almost completely, ensuring high efficiency and minimal particulate matter emissions.
Local wood and the Swiss method
We burn exclusively local wood from maintenance projects within our own municipality. Furthermore, we use the Swiss burning method: a technique where the fire is lit from above, causing the wood to burn more calmly and cleanly. In this way, we combine warmth, efficiency, and care for nature.

A good bed made of natural materials
A good night's sleep is essential – when you're away for a weekend, you want to sleep soundly and feel good. At Celestial Living, we choose beds that are not only comfortable but also sustainable and healthy. Everything, from the mattress to the bedding, is made from natural materials that breathe, promote tranquility, and contribute to a refreshing sleep.
Tuur Sleep – natural sleep, Belgian craftsmanship
A good night's sleep starts with a good bed. That is why our guests sleep on mattresses and toppers from Tuur Sleep – a Belgian brand that combines sustainability and comfort. The mattresses are made of natural latex and organic cotton, completely free of harmful substances and synthetic foam. They ensure a healthy, breathable sleeping environment that lasts a long time and is recyclable.
Textielhuis – natural fiber bedding
Our duvets and pillows come from the organic line of textielhuis.nl ; they carry the German brand FAN Frankenstolz. The organic cotton duvets with a lyocell filling (the raw material is eucalyptus) are lightweight, breathable, moisture-regulating, and antibacterial – ideal for every season. Guests also have a choice of various pillows of natural origin, so that everyone can find their own comfort.
Casa Comodo – pure linen with a soul
Sleeping in a yurt is an experience, and the finest bedding is an essential part of it. We chose 100% pure linen from the Dutch brand Casa Comodo for its natural softness, thermoregulation, and antibacterial properties. Moreover, linen is one of the most sustainable textiles – a philosophy that aligns perfectly with Celestial Living.

Sustainable comfort in every detail
At Celestial Living, sustainable living goes beyond simply sleeping on natural materials. Even the little things make a difference: from toilet paper and cleaning to music, scent, and kitchen amenities. Every detail is chosen with care—comfortable, responsible, and in harmony with nature—so that your stay feels sustainable without compromising on comfort.
Organic kitchen equipment
In the kitchen, it is all about conscious choices and the rhythm of slow living.
Upon arrival, guests will find organic coffee, loose-leaf tea from Simon Lévelt, herbal tea from Pukka, sugar, honey, herbs, spices, and two types of olive oil – all certified organic. The kitchen is fully equipped with an extensive inventory, allowing you to cook easily with care and respect for people and nature.
House of Marley – muziek voor de oren én de aarde
In the yurts, music plays from the House of Marley stereo system, a brand that pays homage to Bob Marley's legacy by combining sound quality with sustainability. Their speakers are made from recycled aluminum, FSC-certified wood, bamboo, and biodegradable materials.
This way, you enjoy warm tones with a clear conscience.
Northern sheep – ecologically tanned fleeces
For extra warmth and comfort, we use sheepskins from Noordschaap . The skins are ecologically tanned, without chemical substances, and are a byproduct of the meat industry – no animal is slaughtered solely for its skin. A natural, honest way to bring warmth and softness to the yurt.
The Good Roll – paper with a mission
Sustainability is in the details. That is why we use The Good Roll : 100% tree-friendly toilet and kitchen paper and tissues made from bamboo. Bamboo grows incredibly fast, requires no pesticides, and absorbs a lot of CO₂ – one of the most renewable resources on Earth. Furthermore, The Good Roll donates half of its net profit to building toilets in Ghana. A small daily choice with a big impact.
Eco-dry toilets and a wooden shower cabin
Yokuu – cleaning with the power of microbes
For the maintenance of everything in and around the yurts, we use Yokuu , a Belgian brand that cleans with good bacteria instead of chemicals. The innovative cleaners are fully biodegradable and the safest option for people, animals, and the environment. A smart, modern way of cleaning that fits our vision of sustainable living.
B Conscious – sustainable, toxin-free eco tea lights
In our yurts, we burn C-lights from B Conscious : natural, non-toxic tea lights without paraffin and without animal fats. The wax is 100% plant-based and comes from responsibly grown crops. The wick, made of certified eco-cotton, produces a beautiful, stable flame. All of this ensures cleaner combustion and prevents soot – pleasant for the air you breathe and pleasant for the yurt's inner canvas.
GreenPan airfryer in every yurt – PFAS-free
Each yurt has a limited power supply, so an oven is not possible. However, there is an air fryer, handy if you want to quickly bake a roll or make a small snack. Here too, we consciously choose sustainability and safety: the GreenPan air fryer has a ceramic non-stick coating and is completely PFAS-free. This way, we offer you convenience that is kind to your health.
Our collaborations reflect the same attention and simplicity as the slow living philosophy.
Natural care & fragrance experience
Our laundry and personal care products and fragrances are natural, organic, and consciously chosen. Gentle scents, pure oils, natural care – everything exudes tranquility. They provide relaxation, purity, and harmony with nature – exactly what you can expect from a stay at Celestial Living.
Sonett – care for laundry and water
We wash our linen and textiles with care for people and the environment. We use ecological washing and cleaning products from Sonett – a German brand that has been a leader in eco-friendly laundry care since 1977.
Their products are fully biodegradable and contain no synthetic fragrances, enzymes, or petrochemical ingredients. This keeps laundry clean, fresh, and soft on the skin, while the water flowing back to nature remains pure.
Urtekram – 100% natural care, packed with values
At Celestial Living, we choose not only luxury and comfort, but also products that truly align with our sustainable philosophy. That is why we work with Urtekram, a Danish brand that has been developing beauty and skincare products without compromise since 1972. The formulas are biodegradable, vegan, and ecologically certified according to the COSMOS standard – free from parabens, silicones, or synthetic fragrances and colorants.
De Groene Linde – essential oils with intention

Extras for rent during your stay
At Celestial Living, it is all about freedom and experience – even outside the yurt. That is why we offer a few extras that you can rent during your stay. And here too, we opt for sustainable options: they make outdoor living even more enjoyable and contribute to a better world.

Roetz Bikes – bikes with a second life
Our rental bikes are from Roetz Bikes , an Amsterdam brand that gives old frames a new life. Each bike is built by hand in the Roetz Fair Factory lab, where people facing barriers to employment learn craftsmanship.
The result: stylish, comfortable, and fully recycled quality bikes that ride like new – a beautiful example of circular design with a social heart.
Petromax Atago – vuur, warmte en buiten koken
Anyone who loves outdoor cooking or gathering around the fire can rent the Petromax Atago from us – a versatile fire bowl and barbecue in one. You can use it to grill, cook, or simply enjoy the crackling fire. Thanks to the adjustable air supply, it burns efficiently and cleanly – allowing you to enjoy a meal or a fire under the stars sustainably and with a clear conscience.
The Atago is made of stainless steel, foldable, and features a double wall, so it can be safely used on the wooden deck of the yurt. We supply everything you need: wood, eco-briquettes, and tools.
