Celestial Living is a small-scale adults-only yurt retreat in Toldijk, Achterhoek. You will stay in one of three detached Kyrgyz yurts with a wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private bathroom right next to your yurt. Booking directly gives you personal contact, the best availability, and the lowest rates without commission fees.

The Achterhoek within reach
Celestial Living is situated in Toldijk, in a rural setting in the heart of the Achterhoek. Here, meadows, hedgerows, winding country lanes, and historic farmhouses alternate. The atmosphere is relaxed, nature is close by, and there is always something beautiful to discover—without it ever feeling crowded.

Three yurts, three unique worlds
Staying overnight in a yurt feels different from staying in a hotel room, tiny house, or standard cottage. The round shape, natural materials, and light streaming through the dome give the space a soft, enveloping atmosphere. This makes a yurt not only special to look at, but above all, a pleasant place to be.
Our three Kyrgyz yurts – Orion, Sirius, and Venus – each have their own character and atmosphere. What they share is peace, privacy, and comfort. What sets them apart is the atmosphere: from light and serene to earthy and secure, or conversely colorful and lively.

From weekend getaway to midweek retreat
Choose the stay that suits you: a romantic weekend, a short weeknight stay, a relaxing midweek, or a discounted stay. Whether you are coming together, want to unwind alone, or prefer to book spontaneously – at Celestial Living, there is always a type that fits your rhythm.
Staying a few extra days pays off. With the Midweek Retreat 4=3, you stay four nights and pay for three – ideal if you want to enjoy peace and quiet in nature.

Practical information & reservations
Celestial Living is open all year round, and you can stay for a maximum of one week. For weekends, you must book a minimum of two nights, with arrival on Friday or Saturday. If you wish to stay for one night, this is only possible from Sunday through Thursday. You can easily book online using the Book a yurt button.

A small round living room of warmth, love, and timelessness
We enjoyed the peace, space, birdsong, rain, the outdoor shower, and the green sea around us. The tea, the fantastic coffee, the bed... especially the lovely bed with lovely bedding!
